We are pleased to announce a chemistry Journal devoted to the development of chemical processes to meet the requirements of the 21st century: Chemistry for Sustainable Development (CSD).
Prof. Valentin A. Koptyug founded the Journal in 1993.
The principal aim of this Journal is to integrate all aspects of chemical research on the basis of new economically acceptable processes, making possible harmonious relations between the chemical industry and the environment.
The Journal publishes original research papers and reviews in any fields of chemistry, on condition that they satisfy the principles of sustainable development, at least potentially.

The CSD Journal deals with the following topics:
* “cradle-to-grave” conception in chemical industries;
* no-waste or low-waste chemical processes;
* recovery and safe disposal of waste products;
* chemistry without solvents and solutions;
* energy loss prevention in chemical processes;
* chemical methods of synthetic fuel production;
* chemical aspects of safety;
* naturally occurring indicators of global environmental changes;
* chemistry of natural and biologically active compounds;
* medicinal chemistry;
* short communications;
* letters to the editor;
* scientific discussions;
* page of young scientist;
