The Journal “Filosofiya nauki” was founded in 1998.
This is a first Russian journal dedicated to the problems of philosophy, logic and
methodology of natural sciences.
The main scientific directions of the Journal are:
- the analysis of philosophical and logical problems of modern natural sciences
(physics, chemistry, biology) and mathematics;
- history of natural sciences in the context of development of its philosophy, logic and
methodology;
- the section “From archives” publishes unknown or forgotten
(due to different reasons), but still urgent works of the known philosophers
and scientists.
