The Role of Litoral of Reservoir in the Initiation of Water "Blooming" by Blue-Green Algae

Abstract
On the example of upper Yenisei shallow and deep reservoirs, the influence of the shallow-water zone on the initiation of water "blooming" by blue-green algae is considered. It is demonstrated that deep-water canion reservoirs with poorly developed littoral zone are nor affected by water "blooming", or it happens only in shallow parts of the reservoirs.
