Abstract
An experimental study of the effect of asymmetric strain of a photonic crystal in the form of changes in the slope of crystal planes during its filling with a gas analyte is performed. This effect is used as a basis for creating a model of a relatively inexpensive selective highly sensitive fast-response sensor of ammonia sensor.
