Comprehensive mycological-geobotanic studies of the basic vegetation types of South Siberia have been started. The species composition of the fungal communities of mesophile herbaceous birch-pine forests has been studied where on eight 20 20 m pilot sites censuses of mushrooms were carried out from May to September. 325 macromycetes species have been found, their abundance and ecological attachment have been estimated. Analysis of their distribution across key sites has been carried out
Macrobiota of the aspen-fir forests of the Salair consists of 237 species from 64 genera, 16 families and 5 orders. The found fungi species have to be considered as belonging to 8 trophical groups: mycorrhiza-formers (32%), humus saprotrophs (8%), litter saprotrophs (23%), xylotrophs (32%), coprotrophs (2%) and carbo-and briotrophs (3%).
The species composition of micromycetes on arboreal plants of Rosaceae family has been studied. Dominant species and genera of pathogens have been determined. A description of microscopic fungi is presented.
Powdery mildews (Erysiphales) in green plantations of Novosibirsk city have been studied. Differences in the development of powdery mildews on arboreal plants introduced in the arboretum of the Central Siberian Botanical Garden situated within the green zone of Novosibirsk and in plantations growing in industrial districts of the city are compared. A description of micromycetes is presented.
The species composition of lichens covering the petroglyphs, stone placers of mounds and other monuments of ancient arts has been studied. 193 lichen species from 57 genera, 25 families and 6 orders have been defined. The species Arthonia lapidicola (Tayl.) Branth et Rostr., Opegrapha gyrocarpa Flot., Verrucaria subumbrinula Vain. Turned out to be new for Siberia, Arthopyrenia inconspiqu a Lahm. ap. Koerb was new for Russia and Asia, Verrucaria cataleptoides Nyl. New for Asia and Siberia
The lichen flora of the Novosibirsk Science Center for which limited data on lichens had been available, was studied. Defined were 165 species from 61 genera and 28 families. An influence of atmospheric pollution on lichens of some habitats has been found.
Peculiarities of distribution of epilith lichens in various ecotopes of the East Sayan region (within the Irkutsk oblast) are considered. Complexes of species found in the Irkutsk-Cheremkhovo plain (on rocky riverbanks) and in the piedmonts and spurs of ranges of the East Sayan (in closed mountain river valleys, in forests under the forest canopy and on open stony placers in upper parts of hillsides) are characterized. Totally, 172 species and subspecies of epilith lichens belonging to 75 genera and 39 families were found: among them, there were crustose, 50 foliose, 4 fruticose lichens. 13 species were
Lichen flora of southern subtaiga (Tara district of the Omsk Region) was studied. Used as materials were collections made by the author and by the students of the Pedasgogical University during the summer season of 1973
